Debbie Henchel, Director of Human Resources
Debbie joined Advanced Focus in January of 2008. Prior to joining Advanced Focus, she spent 22 years in the coffee and beverage industry. In 2004 her prior company was exploding so rapidly hence more employees and out of control. Their old ways of keeping track of employees and providing them with all their needs weren’t up to compliance. They were very much in need of organization and a structured Human Resource department to handle all the employee’s needs and concerns. Loving a new challenge, Debbie quickly rolled up her sleeves and went to work. Debbie, a self starter and quick learner formulated a strategy and plan to set the company on the right track. Through intelligence, logic, training and conferences, Debbie single handedly started up a brand new Human Resource department from the ground up. The result was an organized full blown Human Resource department.
Debbie and Todd met 4 years ago through a mutual friend. They began talking and a friendship was established. After a few years and many discussions with Debbie about her job and all that it entailed, Todd was intrigued with her and her experience. Todd realized what an important job Debbie had and was impressed with her ability to set up a full blown Human Resource department from scratch. At this time, Todd wasn’t in need of a Human Resource department since he just started the company, but thinking sometime down the road he knew in the back of his mind that once the company started to grow he would ask Debbie to come aboard.
Five years had passed and Advanced Focus was growing stronger everyday, Todd’s plan to start a Human Resource department was finally hatched. He asked Debbie to join Advanced Focus. She was thrilled that he asked her and was excited to tackle another challenge and build another Human Resource department from the bottom up. She was extremely excited to jump right in. Debbie is looking forward to getting Advanced Focus up and running and on the right track.
